Sand and Gravel Operations in Llano River…What rules apply?

 

There is case before a State Office of Administrative Hearings Judge  regarding a permit request to Texas Parks and Wildlife Department to remove sand and gravel from an island in the middle of the Llano River, approximately 3 miles above the Kingsland Slab.  A contested case hearing was filed by landowners near the projected site and the preliminary hearing was held August 4th in Austin.
